The program contained on this website was developed to provide Canadian healthcare professionals with the pre-requisite education required to treat opiate dependent patients with SUBOXONE® (buprenorphine HCl and naloxone HCl dehydrate). Personal information about you will namely be collected, used and disclosed for the following purposes:

  • to serve you better;
  • to validate your identity as a Canadian healthcare professional (physician, nurse or pharmacist);
  • to provide feedback to Health Canada, the College of Family Physicians of Canada (“CFPC”) and/or any other professional association for accreditation purposes;
  • to confirm your successful completion of this program and provide you with a completion certificate for continuing education requirements with the CFPC and/or any other professional association;
  • to be able to comply with your requests or inquiries for technical assistance;
  • to register you for live events with our editorial board, and to provide email reminders for these live events;
  • as permitted by and to comply with, any legal, regulatory or compliance requirements or provisions; and,
  • for any other purpose to which you give consent.

Your personal information will not be sold, transferred or used in any way which may be contrary to applicable law.

To help protect the confidentiality of your personal information, we employ administrative, technological and procedural safeguards that are appropriate to the sensitivity of the personal information. We operate secure data networks protected by industry standard firewall and password protection systems.

Personal information that is corrected or updated on this site may not be updated with any third party that has a requirement for said information, such as Health Canada or the CFPC.
